MOLINE, Ill. (March 17, 2017) — The Missouri Mavericks hit the road for a two-game series against the Quad City Mallards. The weekend showdown will be games nine and ten and will wrap up the season series between the two teams.
WHO: Missouri Mavericks (28-24-8, 64 Pts.) at Quad City Mallards (33-23-4, 70 Pts.)
WHAT: Season Game #61, Road Game #28 - The Mallards lead the season series 5-3-0. The Mavericks won the last meeting on February 18 by a score of 2-1.
WHEN: Friday, March 17, 2017 at 7:05 p.m.

The Mavericks will receive additional depth to their blue line as defender, Patrick Cullity, will join the team in Moline for Friday and Saturday's games. Cullity was reassigned by the Bridgeport Sound Tigers (AHL) on Thursday. The 6'2"- 200lb veteran is no stranger to the Mavericks, having played in 33 regular season games and five playoff games last season.
ON THE ROAD AGAIN...
The Mavericks have yet to play a road game in March, as they wrapped up a six-game home stand on Tuesday vs. Wichita. The Mavericks carry a three-game road winning streak into Quad City. The Mallards handed the Mavericks their last road loss a 5-4 shootout on January 20. The Mavericks squandered a 4-1 third period lead as Quad City scored three goals in a five minute span to tie the game.
