Mavericks Announce Two-Game Exhibition Slate

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. – The Kansas City Mavericks have scheduled a pair of preseason games at Allen for Friday, Oct. 6 at 8:45 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 7 at 5:30 p.m.

The games will take place at the Allen Event Center Community Rink, which is able to accommodate roughly 350 fans. Ticket information will be available in the near future.

The two teams will clash eight times this season, four times on each team’s home ice.

The familiar foes met 13 times in 2016-17 and 12 times during the 2015-16, Brabham Cup-winning regular season for Kansas City. The Mavericks and Americans also competed in the Kelly Cup Playoffs in 2016, a series Allen took 4-2.

The Mavericks will begin their regular season on Friday, Oct. 13 at Tulsa at 7:05 p.m. and will begin the team’s home slate on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 7:05 p.m. against Wichita. Season tickets remain on sale.
