Veterans Community Project - November

Veterans Community Project, founded in 2016 provides housing for veterans experiencing homelessness in an innovative community made up of tiny homes. The tiny homes provide everything he or she needs to live with dignity and safety, new furniture, appliances, housewares, bedding, and utilities, free of charge. More importantly the Village is a sanctuary and an emotional space needed for the veteran and VCP’s Veteran Support Services team thoroughly address the underlying causes of his or her homelessness. This is done at the VCP Outreach Center that provides a variety of support services including food and hygiene kits, counseling referrals, employment support groups, dental care, and much more to the residents.

When the veteran is ready, VCP assists him or her in securing a permanent housing solution. Not only does the veteran take the entire contents of the tiny house with them, they take the ongoing support of the village as well.
