4/23/26 - KC Mavericks Support Shadow Buddies "Shoot for the Kids" Event:
The Mavericks were proud to support Shadow Buddies Foundation at their annual “Shoot for the Kids” event, held at Powder Creek Shooting Park in Lenexa. The clay target competition brought teams from across the Kansas City area together for a day of friendly competition, raffles, and community support—all benefiting children facing serious medical challenges. Proceeds from the event help fund the organization’s “Courage Capes” program, which provides superhero capes, masks, and Shadow Buddies to thousands of children undergoing treatment, empowering them to feel strong during difficult times.

4/19/26 - Mavericks Street Team attends Kansas Speedway:
The Mavericks Street Team brought energy and excitement to race day at Kansas Speedway, connecting with fans from across the region. Throughout the event, the team engaged with attendees through giveaways, games, and conversations about Mavericks hockey. The fast-paced atmosphere made for an unforgettable day, as the Mavericks helped fuel the excitement and brought their own brand of energy to an already electric crowd.

4/7/26 - KC Mavericks Host their Final Coaches Show:
The Kansas City Mavericks gathered at Llywellyn's Pub to celebrate a milestone season, highlighted by securing the Brabham Cup as ECHL regular season champions. Fans heard from the coaching staff as they reflected on the team’s success and what it took to reach the top of the league. With the regular season complete, the focus quickly turned to the road ahead, as the Mavericks set their sights on making a deep run in the Kelly Cup Playoffs.

3/2/26 - KC Mavericks Host their Coaches Show at Johnny's Tavern:
The KC Mavericks hosted a Coaches Show at Johnny's Tavern, giving fans an inside look at the team ahead of an upcoming stretch of road games. Fans had the opportunity to interact with players and coaches, take pictures, and take part in raffles throughout the evening, creating an engaging and interactive experience.

3/2/26 - Mavericks Players Skate with Variety KC:
Players from the KC Mavericks teamed up with Variety KC to host an adaptive skating event at Cable Dahmer Arena. Children and their families were invited to take the ice for a special experience, many for the very first time. Mavericks players skated alongside participants, both in adaptive sleds and on skates, creating an inclusive and supportive environment. The event focused on helping each child build independence, learn new skills, and enjoy being active and social in a space where everyone could feel a sense of belonging.

2/18/26 - Mavericks Players Spend the Afternoon with the Golden Scoop:
Super Scoopers On Wednesday afternoon, several Mavericks players spent time giving back at The Golden Scoop. The players worked alongside the Super Scoopers, assisting with a variety of tasks including baking cookies, making ice cream from scratch, and even running the drive-thru.
The Golden Scoop creates meaningful employment opportunities for people of all abilities while helping build a more inclusive community for everyone. The Mavericks are proud to partner with The Golden Scoop this season and to help provide Super Scoopers with additional real-world work experience opportunities at home games, where they’ve sold their delicious treats to our amazing fans. 2/3/26 - KC Mavericks Street Team & Interns Host Floor Hockey Clinic for Special Olympics KS Athletes:
The KC Mavericks and Special Olympics Kansas kicked off their month-long partnership with a floor hockey clinic led by the Mavericks Street Team and interns! Mavericks staff guided athletes through drills focused on stickhandling, passing, and shooting before wrapping up the clinic with two exciting floor hockey games. 1/14/26 – KC Mavericks Host Coaches Show at Park Place:
The KC Mavericks hosted their fourth Coaches Show of the season at Park Place. Fans enjoyed the lively atmosphere, skated on the ice alongside the show, and heard directly from coaches and players as they talked all things Mavericks hockey.

1/13/26 – KC Mavericks Front Office and Team Volunteer at Giving the Basics:
The entire Mavericks Front Office staff and hockey team volunteered at Giving the Basics, where they heard from CEO Teresa Hamilton, toured the facility, and helped package donations for distribution to those in need. 1/12/26 – Mavericks Hold Off-Site Practice at Carriage Club:
The Mavericks visited the local youth hockey team at Carriage Club for a special off-site outdoor practice. Young players had the opportunity to watch their favorite Mavericks compete in small-area games such as 3-on-3 and 4-on-4, followed by an autograph and photo session for a memorable night!
