11/27/25 – Mavericks Host Second Off-Site Practice for Cable Dahmer Arena Youth Programs:

The Mavericks welcomed youth teams who also call Cable Dahmer Arena home for a special practice and behind-the-scenes experience. Attendees witnessed the Mavericks participate in drills up close, and met their favorite pros after practice for pictures and autographs.

11/20/25–11/23/25 – Mavericks Spread Holiday Cheer at Holiday Boutique:

Throughout the weekend, the Mavericks Street Team and Front Office attended the Holiday Boutique in Overland Park to connect with fans and spread holiday cheer. Staff shared excitement for the upcoming season and encouraged shoppers to join the Mavericks at Cable Dahmer Arena all winter long.

11/17/25 – Mavericks Host Second Coaches Show of the Season at 30Hop:

The Mavericks held their second Coaches Show at 30Hop in Lee’s Summit, featuring the coaching staff along with Jack LaFontaine, Bobo Carpenter, and Jake McLaughlin. Fans enjoyed insights into the team’s strong early-season performance, road success, and the mindset needed to keep the momentum rolling.

11/10/25 – Mavericks and Variety KC Come Together for Adaptive Skate:

The Mavericks opened the doors of Cable Dahmer Arena to welcome Variety KC families for the season’s first adaptive skate. More than 25 families attended, enjoying the chance to interact with Mavericks players both on skates and in sleds used for sled hockey—creating an afternoon full of smiles, inclusion, and memories.

11/3/25 – Mavericks Host First Off-Site Practice of the Season at KCIC:

The Mavericks brought the action to KCIC in Shawnee Mission for their first off-site practice of the season, home of the KC Stars. Youth players and families packed the stands to watch their favorite Mavericks hit the ice, followed by a fun and memorable autograph session with the team.

10/27/25 – Mavericks Support Variety KC at Heart & Swing Golf Tournament:

The Mavericks Street Team and Front Office joined Variety KC’s Heart & Swing Golf Tournament to support their mission of creating a more inclusive Kansas City for all kids and families. As proud partners of Variety KC, the Mavericks are excited to welcome participating families to an adaptive skate at Cable Dahmer Arena in November.

10/21/25 - Mavericks Host First Coaches Show at SERV:

 The Mavericks hosted their first Coaches Show of the season at Serv in Overland Park. Fans got to hear directly from all three Mavericks coaches, along with forwards Casey Carreau and David Cotton, as they discussed the start of the season and what Mavs fans can look forward to heading into the first road trip of the year.

10/21/25 - Scooping Up Smiles at The Golden Scoop:

Mavericks players, along with Mac, visited and volunteered at The Golden Scoop - a proud community partner of the KC Mavericks whose mission is to provide meaningful employment for people with unique abilities. Players helped create some of the delicious ice cream that the Super Scoopers serve to customers, helping change lives one scoop at a time.

10/14/25 - Celebrating the Start of a New Season at the Kickoff Party: 

To kick off the new season, the Mavericks hosted their annual Kickoff Party at Llywelyn's Pub in Lee's Summit. The best fans in the ECHL gathered for an evening of camaraderie, behind-the-scenes insight, and celebration to ring in another exciting season of Mavericks hockey.

10/12/25 - Mavs Bring the Energy to Sports Mania:

The Kansas City Mavericks Street Team joined the fun at the annual Sports Mania Weekend, hosted at Carolyn’s Pumpkin Patch in Liberty. Guests showed up wearing their favorite team gear and were treated to free kettle-corn and photo ops with some familiar Mavs faces. It was a great way to connect with families in the community and bring some hockey spirit to the fall festivities!
