7/27/26 - Mavericks Support Special Olympics Kansas on the Course:

Members of the Street Team and Front Office spent time Monday at Special Olympics Kansas golf tournament. The Mavs Crew had a blast supporting Special Olympics Kansas' mission to create opportunities through sports, health, and leadership for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

7/23/26 – Mavs Attend SOAR Camp to Help Bring Joy to KC Families: 

We spent an unforgettable day at SOAR Camp in Lenexa, where SOAR Special Needs creates magical moments for individuals with disabilities and their families. With crafts, games, worship, and mission-focused fun, every camper had a buddy and full medical support, making this camp a safe, joyful, and inclusive experience for everyone!

7/20/26 - Street Team Attends Swing Fore the Cure: 

The Mavericks Street Team was out on the course at Swing Fore the Cure, a golf tournament raising money and awareness for those living with Chordoma, a rare and devastating bone tumor. Mac and the team encouraged golfers all day long and started spreading the news about the Mavericks upcoming season!

7/11/26 - Mac and the Street Team Participate in Shadow Buddies Touch-A-Truck: 

Mac and members of the Street Team spent Saturday morning visiting friends from Shadow Buddies at their annual Touch-A-Truck event. The special event gave children and families facing medical challenges the opportunity to explore large vehicles and emergency equipment in a safe and loving environment without any obstacles in their way.

7/10/26 - KC Mavs Assist Weeks Wraps Up with Shadow Buddies: 

On the final day of KC Mavs Assist Week, the Mavericks paid a visit to our friends at Shadow Buddies. This season, the Mavericks and Shadow Buddies partnered together to provide comfort, courage, and smiles to children facing medical challenges. Together they created 500 Mavericks Buddies to deliver to children in local PICU's and NICU's in the Kansas City area.

7/9/26 - The Mavericks Celebrate a Sweet Partnership with The Golden Scoop:

The Super Scoopers quickly became fan favorites this season! The Golden Scoop was on the concourse for every major theme night this season, as well as numerous playoff games selling their sweet treats for the best fans in the ECHL. The Mavericks are proud to support and provide countless opportunities in support of The Golden Scoop's mission to empower people with unique abilities through meaningful employment.

7/8/26 - Special Olympics Kansas Shines on Day 3 of KC Mavs Assist Week:

Another day of KC Mavs Assist Week means another opportunity to give back! This season, the Kansas City Mavericks proudly partnered with Special Olympics Kansas on a co-designed jersey initiative featuring a name of a Special Olympics athlete on each jersey in support of their trip to the 2026 USA Special Olympics Games hosted in Minneapolis, MN.

7/7/26 - The Mavericks visit with friends from Variety KC: 

During their second stop of KC Mavs Assist Week, Mac and the Street Team met with children and families from Variety KC to help present a check to Variety KC which will help purchase families accessible equipment whether it be an accessible bike or a communication device. The Mavericks have welcomed over 100 families from Variety KC to participate in an adaptive sled hockey outing, giving many families the chance to share the ice together for the very first time.

7/6/26 - KC Mavs Assist Week Begins with Giving the Basics:

The Mavericks presented their first check apart of their annual KC Mavs Assist Week to Giving the Basics. Over the past three seasons of partnering together, the Mavericks have helped provide more than 250,000 hygiene products through product drives and monetary donations, supporting individuals and families across the KC community.
