Tulsa, Okla. – The Kansas City Mavericks defeated the Tulsa Oilers 1-0 Friday night at the BOK Center. CJ Eick netted a goal for the Mavericks. Goalie Matt Greenfield stopped 36 of 36 shots. The Mavericks return to action Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. against the Tulsa Oilers at Cable Dahmer Arena.First Period Shots: KC 13, TUL 10

Second Period Kansas City goal: CJ Eick (1) at 19:34. Assisted by Darik Angeli and Connor Doherty. Shots: KC 8, TUL 14

Notes and StreaksThis was Matt Greenfield’s first professional shutout.The Mavericks went zero-for-four on the power play and five-for-five on the penalty kill.
