Bobo Carpenter has been named the ECHL Player of the Month for March.
Carpenter scored 11 goals and added eight assists for 19 points in 11 games during the month.
The 29-year-old had at least one point in all 11 games, and scored at least one goal in nine of 11 outings. Carpenter had six multi-point games, including two goals and an assist on March 14 at Tahoe and three assists on March 24 at Wichita.
A native of North Reading, Massachusetts, Carpenter has 41 points (24g-17a) in 40 games with the Mavericks this season.
Carpenter has recorded 111 points (65g-46a) in 124 career ECHL games with Kansas City and Florida while adding 20 points (9g-11a) in 60 career American Hockey League games with Bridgeport and Milwaukee.
Prior to turning pro, Carpenter tallied 102 points (56g-46a) in 144 career games at Boston University and 72 points (40g-32a) in 69 career games with Sioux City of the United States Hockey League.
