An Environment Created for Everyone!

The Kansas City Mavericks are proud to introduce Sensory Sundays, a series of seven games throughout the season, designed to create a more comfortable, welcoming, and inclusive game-day experience for individuals with sensory sensitivities and their families.

We believe hockey should be an experience that everyone can enjoy. Sensory Sundays give families the opportunity to experience the excitement, energy, and tradition of Mavericks hockey in an environment that is more mindful of different sensory needs.

Through these select games, we’ll make thoughtful adjustments to the arena environment, including reduced lighting and sound, sensory-friendly activities, designated quiet spaces, and additional resources to help make the game-day experience more comfortable and accessible.

Whether it’s your family’s first hockey game or you’re longtime Mavericks fans, Sensory Sundays are a place where you can come as you are and experience the game your way.
