MAVERICKS ANNOUNCE SALVATION ARMY NIGHT AT CABLE DAHMER ARENA

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - The Kansas City Mavericks announced Wednesday that Salvation Army Night will be hosted during the Home Opener on Friday, December 18.

The Mavericks host the Indy Fuel on Friday, December 18 at 7:05 p.m. at Cable Dahmer Arena. The Salvation Army will be located at both entrances with red kettles and collection bins for winter clothing items. We are asking Mavs Country to bring coats, gloves, scarves, and of course some spare change! For all clothing donation methods, new items are preferred.

Let’s help Salvation Army in its efforts to rescue Christmas this holiday season.

About the Salvation Army’s “Rescue Christmas” MissionThe funds raised through the Salvation Army’s red kettles are at risk this year due to COVID-19. Requests for the Salvation Army’s services are at an all-time high this year and as a response to the pandemic, the Salvation Army has increased its services. With the increase in services, the Salvation Army could serve up to 155 percent more people in 2020 with Christmas assistance. The Salvation Army assists individuals in need by providing food, assisting with bills, providing shelter, and helping place gifts under the tree. Last year, the Salvation Army Midland Division, which covers Missouri and Southern Illinois, raised $3.8 million during the red kettle campaign.

Season tickets for the 2020-21 season are available now by calling the Mavericks at 816-252-7825 or visiting kcmavericks.com.
