Player of the Week Mavericks forward Brodie Reid was named the Inglasco ECHL Player of the Week for the week of January 11-17. In his last three games, Reid has eight points on five goals and three assists. Reid is currently tied for the league lead with seven goals.  

Clean Kills The Mavericks have killed 25 of their last 28 penalties in eight games this month.

In the BooksMavericks defenseman Luke Bafia scored the first goal of his professional career Friday against the Utah Grizzlies. 

Apple Picking SeasonMavericks forward Giorgio Estephan leads the team with 10 assists. Estephan has five assists in the last four games.

Angeli on the BoardMavericks forward, and recent roster addition, Darik Angeli scored his first goal of the season last Saturday night.

A Goaltending GemMavericks goalie Matt Greenfield got his first professional career win on Monday against the Utah Grizzlies. Greenfield stopped 38 of 40 shots from the Grizzlies.

New Kids on the BlockThe Mavericks have recently added six new players to the roster. Forwards Darik Angeli and Boston Leier, defensemen Connor Doherty and Corbin Baldwin, and goalies Matt Greenfield and Joel Rumpel are new additions. Last Thursday, Forward Kamerin Nault was acquired from Greenville in exchange for Anthony Rinaldi.
