INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - The Kansas City Mavericks faceoff against the Wichita Thunder tonight at 7:05 p.m. at INTRUST Bank Arena. The Mavericks and Thunder will faceoff again on Saturday, January 9 at 7:05 p.m. and Sunday, January 10 at 4:05 p.m. at INTRUST Bank Arena.

Leading DefensemenMavericks defensemen Zach Osburn and Willie Corrin are ranked in the Top 20 Defensemen Scorers. Osburn is ranked number nine with four points on one goal and three assists. Corrin is ranked number 14 with four points on four assists.

Not on Our WatchThe Mavericks are the only team in the ECHL to have not allowed a shorthanded goal this season.

Mr. ConsistencyMavericks forward Giorgio Estephan is on a three-game point streak. In the last three games, Estephan has six points on three goals and three assists.

Point StreaksIn addition to Estephan’s three-game point streak, Mavericks forwards Brodie Reid and Lane Scheidl and defenseman Willie Corrin each have points in consecutive games. Reid has five points in three games on one goal and four assists. Scheidl has five points in three games on one goal and four assists and Corrin has two points in two games on two assists.
